Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino

The Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino has provided free legal services to the disadvantaged for over 50 years.

LASSB helps thousands of community members every year with guardianships, conservatorships, child custody, divorces and many other matters allowing families to gain access to health care services, gain protective orders and orders for safe and stable home life.   

LASSB provides free consultations with attorneys, free preparation of legal paperwork and occasionally free representation of clients in courts of law.

San Bernardino County has a large need for pro bono legal services. Without legal aid, the large cost of legal services would keep many of our community members without a way to protect their interests.  The Dept. of Justice has determined that 3 out of every 10 people living in poverty have 2-3 legal problems which affect their daily lives.   Our work helps those families who could never hire an attorney to help with their struggle for safe and stable home life.
