Give San Bernardino Children the BEST start!
80-85% of brain development happens in the first 36 months of life! What a child experiences during this critical time affects his or her entire life.
We provide research-based, highly specialized parenting education designed to bring families closer and to optimize brain development so kids are ready for school, have strong self-regulation, and face a dramatically reduced risk of abuse and neglect.
Our program, offered in English or Spanish, is free for families living within the boundaries of the San Bernardino City Unified School District who have children ages 0-36 months. Classes are taught by master's level Parent Educators through a partnership with CSUSB's Parenting Center at the Institute for Child Development and Family Relations. Skilled childcare is provided during the classes as well as a meal, incentives, and a free book in Engish or Spanish for parents to read to their children.
Funds raised will support the purchase of incentives like diapers, baby products, and other items.
